Clawing His Way Back to Work

14 October 2013

Dreaming of taking a nice long vacation. I have been doing so many things I feel so burnt out - I don't even have time to do the things I love....that means I am entirely too busy.

Procrastinating, I still have not ordered a single portrait for my Christmas cards this year. I have absolutely no motivation when it comes to my own photos.

Wishing that being healthy and at a good weight was not so hard. Why can't cookies be good for you and salads be bad?!!

Enjoying this Fall weather, although some days have been so chilly I am wondering if the winter is going to be really intense.

Praying for all of the wonderful women I've met via blogland and and instaland - know that I truly think of you wonderful ladies daily. Your emails and comments stick so close to my heart.

Thinking of how awesome Christmas break is going to be - by the end of two weeks together my husband may just be sick of me and clawing his way back to work.

Hoping for great news for some of pals that are facing new seasons in life. Sometimes changes can be hard but out of all the changes I have experienced including moving away from my family I can see how God worked it for my good.

Reading Sacred Secrets by Beth Moore. I can't rave enough about how awesome this book is. If you haven't read it before you should definitely check it out. Often times in my walk with Christ I learn new things and wish I had know them before I got myself into a whole bunch of messes. But I guess hindsight is really 20/20.

Enjoying having fresh flowers at home. I don't really like bouquets as much as I like flowering plants like Mums and Gebera Daisies they last longer and seem less wasteful to me.

Excited for a meetup with some of my TTC sisters for Saturday. Praying so hard that my friend Kasey is feeling okay and has the day off to come. I really want to meet you my dear!!

Constructing the recipe book I told you guys about, it's coming along nicely but it's really been more of a chore because I am sooooo busy shooting and editing. I have 2X2 inch prints for it via Postal Pix, can't wait to share more about that later.

Loving the new devotional plan that I started via the Youversion app. If you want to know about how I study I wrote about that here.

Working hard at being a wife of love and gentleness this week. We are finished celebrating Mr.FixIt's birthday and we had a blast. Seriously this week was epic we laughed so much it reminded me of when we were first courting.

Waiting, for some reason it seems like I am always waiting on someone or something. I guess this is an area where I need the most work because all my test come in the area of patience.

Catching Up on blog reading and emails. If you messaged me I am getting to you slowly but surely I have finally gotten my inbox under control. Anybody have a hard time adjusting to the changes from GMAIL?

Your Turn: What are you up to today? Any amazing plans for the week?

  1. My dear, I did a currently list today also! haha! Great minds think alike! Wouldn't the cookie situation be so much better if the mixer could whisk out the fat? :) Hope you get some rest and a vacay soon, my friend! Happy Monday!

Not going to lie, I laughed a little bit about the "procrastinating" one. I haven't even started to think about Christmas cards!
