Am I Weird? Q&A

13 July 2013

I was nominated for the Liebster Award for the third time by Jovana. Thank you Jovana for considering me. I have sent out Liebster awards before so this time I will do things a little different. I am going to share some random things about myself in a Q&A vlog and I will also answer Jovana's questions below.

Questions:
1. What was the last book that you read?
Becoming a Woman who Loves by Cynthia Heald

2. What would be your dream job?
I am currently working my dream job as a photographer, nothing like being your own boss.

3. If you could choose another name for yourself, what would it be?
Never thought of it before, but I love the name Chai. I like both Hindi and Hebrew versions of it.

4. You are given one day to spend with anyone of your choice (celebrity, family both living or deceased, etc.). Who do you choose?
My blogging pal Haley - she's my little sister in my head. So sweet!

5. Chocolate or vanilla?
Vanilla.

6. If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Reading minds, I feel like I can do that already but I'd like to make it official.

7. What is your most favourite thing that you own?
My iPhone, it just helps me so much.

8. What is your favourite holiday?
Thanksgiving....it's all about the food baby!

9. What is the one drink you always order in restaurants (either alcoholic or non)?
Amaretto Sour, it my signature drink.

10.What is the best advice that you have ever received?
Not to give up. It was for nothing specific but each time I feel like I want to give up at various moments, I remember the stranger who randomly told me that.

11. Fave food?
Indian all day everyday!

I hope these questions helped you learn a little more about me. I would love to learn more about you. Answer these questions below or link me to your own about me vlog, or blog in the comments below.

  2. My iPhone is my lifeline. It's so sad, I would be so lost without that little thing. And Indian food, oh my word, I've been wanting some so bad lately. I would so terrible things for some killer biryani or coconut curry. Thanks for stopping by my blog, Charity! I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

  6. I probably have a lot of embarassing moments that I've shoved into the background or perhaps tried to play them off, but one was at a piano recital. My mom had bought me a pair of pink heels (think 1/2") but they were from Pic 'N Pay and you know the bottoms can be tricky. So at this recital, the floor had been recently waxed and someone had the bright idea to dust the piano with furniture polish. Needless to say, as I approached the piano, my slick bottoms and that waxed/furniture polished floor didn't agree and I ended up flat on my back. Yeah. I started laughing from the floor, grinned at the crowd, and played the best ever. Probably because my jittery nerves were somewhere on that floor!

  8. Lmao you had me dying of laughter! Especially with the random children names being, Johnny and Catarina lol. You're lucky, having a Dominican restaurant within the family. I have my mom's kiitchen to raid lol. Where do you live? I am in Pennsylvania. I just really noticed your hair, it's tiny twists right? I love it! I've never seen it that way, I've seen thick dreads before. Talking bout hair, the weave story? I was done, lol. I had an embarrassing moment since I giggle at yours ill share mine. It was picture Day and I was in the 5th grade. I was wearing a white top, black skirt, and white tights (only young girls should wear those). I went in the bathroom. We had our own in our classroom. I came out and my best guy friend was cracking up. My then best female friend tapped me and told me that my skirt was tucked into my tights -_- needless to say to this day I always check to make surly dress or skirt aren't tucked into stockings or panties. And thanks for mentioning me in your video ;)
